What is globalization?
Globalization describes how trading and technology have made the world more connected and independent. Globalization has had positive and negative consequences for the world as we know it today.

Pros
First, the pros: Globalization has "expanded customer bases, [created] more revenue streams, and [diversified the] workforce." As a result, businesses can easily expand and build more connections. Furthermore, globalization serves as a support system for businesses, allowing them to become more powerful and recognizable.
Cons
Next, the cons: Globalization has contributed to "environmental degradation, legal compliance issues, and worker exploitation." These challenges can be horrifying for workers, businesses, and consumers. The impact of the pros or cons can lead to mass change, either in a good or bad way. These cons demonstrate that the benefits of globalization have come at a hefty cost that we as a society must address. Let's take a look at each one of these drawbacks:
Environmental Degradation
Environmental degradation is when the resources that businesses produce harm nature, causing deterioration. One way to tackle this issue is by increasing the use of recyclable materials and building resources with the environment in mind.
Legal Compliance Issues
Legal compliance issues arise when businesses fail to follow business regulations. These issues can be avoided by simply adhering to the rules before making any changes. By making this adjustment, businesses may relieve themselves from any worry about potential legal issues and repercussions.
Worker Exploitation
As the name implies, worker exploitation is when employers mistreat their workers. It may take the form of financial exploitation, emotional exploitation, etc. The best way for workers to avoid this is by working for reputable companies. Furthermore, business owners should assess their practices to ensure their employees are properly treated. All workers deserve to be appreciated and happy workers are often beneficial in the long run for employers.
